My wife Sonia and I moved to Colorado to take part in the year-round outdoor activities. Our daughters, Amelia & Zoe, enjoy camping, hiking, biking, skiing, and snowshoeing in addition to motorsports, woodworking and simply spending time as a family. The Kohrs Orthodontics team takes an active role in the communities near both offices, sponsoring youth sports, school activities, and charitable organizations, as well as taking part in town festivals and other community events.
In addition to taking special care of you and your family, I have a special interest in treating children with cleft lip and palate as well as other cranio-facial issues. I am a member of the Kaiser Permanente Cranio-Facial Team, which provides a full range of health services to children with cranio-facial birth defects including cleft lip and palate. I am also active in the Metropolitan Denver Dental Society’s Give Kids a Smile Program and the Domestic Violence Dental Care Program.
Now in Denver, my professional affiliations include the American Association of Orthodontics, American Board of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists, and Rocky Mountain Dental Study Club. I have served as a council member for the Colorado Dental Association, as a delegate for the Metro Denver Dental Society and as an exhibitor liaison for the Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists. I have also enjoyed an appointment as Associate Professor at the University of Colorado School of Dentistry.
